What Fieldmox does

The questions people ask before they switch, answered straight.

What is Fieldmox?
Fieldmox is field service management software for service businesses with a team in the field. It covers the work from first quote to final payment: quotes, jobs and recurring contracts, scheduling, a technician app, service reports, invoicing and online payments. It has AI built in that drafts quotes. It costs $79 a month for up to 5 users, $149 for up to 15 users and $199 for unlimited users.
Who is Fieldmox for?
Owners and office teams of field service businesses, such as cleaning, pest control, HVAC and maintenance companies. It suits businesses with recurring contracts and commercial clients that have several sites.
How much does Fieldmox cost?
Essentials is $79 a month for up to 5 users, Pro is $149 a month for up to 15 users and Unlimited is $199 a month for unlimited users. The price is per company, not per user. It's month to month, with no contract and no setup fee. Clients using the portal are free. See pricing.
What does the AI in Fieldmox do?
In the quote editor, you describe the job, paste the client's email or add a photo of the site, and the AI drafts the quote lines from your own products and prices. It also writes the cover note and the scope of work for each line, and you can ask it for changes in plain English. Every change can be undone, and nothing is sent until someone on your team sends it. It can also rebuild your existing quote or invoice layout from a PDF or photo.
Does Fieldmox have a mobile app for technicians?
Yes. Technicians use the Fieldmox app on iPhone, available on the App Store. It shows today's jobs and the schedule, and on each visit the technician can work through the checklist, take before and after photos, record parts used and capture the customer's signature. You can require photos, checklist items or a signature before a visit can be marked done.
Can clients book online?
Yes. Clients can book a service online, and the booking lands in Fieldmox. Website forms can also create leads and clients, and clients in the portal can send new service requests.
Does Fieldmox optimize routes?
Yes. Fieldmox can put a technician's visits for the day in an efficient driving order, and the office sees every visit on a map at its property's location.
Does Fieldmox send payment reminders?
Yes. Fieldmox sends automatic reminders to clients for unpaid invoices, so the office doesn't have to chase each one by hand. The owner's home screen also lists unpaid and overdue invoices by age.
Can technicians log their time?
Yes. Technicians log their time in Fieldmox, and managers can review and approve timesheets.
Does Fieldmox handle recurring jobs and service contracts?
Yes. A contract job has a repeat pattern, such as weekly or monthly, with a start and end date, and Fieldmox creates every visit on the schedule. Reports show contracts that are about to expire. Jobs can be billed per visit or at a fixed price with deposits and instalments.
Can one client have several properties or sites?
Yes. A client can have many properties, each with its own address, map location and service zone. One job can cover several properties, with a visit at each property on each date.
Can clients pay invoices online?
Yes. Clients can pay by card through Stripe (beta), from a payment link or from the client portal, and the payment is recorded on the invoice automatically. Quotes and invoices are emailed from your own Gmail, Outlook, Zoho Mail or other mailbox.
Is there a client portal?
Yes. Clients sign in with a link sent by email. They can see and accept quotes, sign documents, pay invoices, check their jobs, visits and properties, and send new service requests. The portal can run on your own domain.
Can clients sign quotes and contracts electronically?
Yes. Clients can accept a quote with a drawn signature. Contracts and other documents support several signers, signing in order or in parallel, an email code check and a record of each signer's IP address and browser.
Does Fieldmox work with QuickBooks?
Yes, in beta. Fieldmox sends invoices, payments received, customers, jobs and expenses to QuickBooks Online, and reads your tax rates and chart of accounts from it. The sync is one way, from Fieldmox to QuickBooks. Zoho Books works the same way. Xero is coming soon.
Does Fieldmox track where technicians are?
Fieldmox records a technician's location when they tap on my way, arrived, started or finished on a visit. It doesn't track technicians live in the background.
Does Fieldmox have an API?
Fieldmox has outbound webhooks: you add a URL, pick the events and Fieldmox sends them, with test sends and retries. Teams can create API keys in settings. There's also an MCP server, so AI assistants that support MCP, such as Claude, can work in Fieldmox with the user's permission. There isn't a public REST API reference yet.
Can I move my data into Fieldmox?
Yes. You can import clients, leads, deals, tasks and products from CSV or Excel files, and the Fieldmox team sets up your account and moves your data from tools like Jobber, Housecall Pro or spreadsheets for you. Any list in Fieldmox can be exported to CSV or Excel. How switching works.
What other features does Fieldmox have?
Leads and sales pipelines, quotes that turn into jobs, service report, work order and service agreement templates you can edit, purchase orders, bills and expenses, custom fields on clients, properties, jobs and most other records, roles and permissions for office and field staff, tax rates and tax-inclusive prices, and invoices in any currency.
Who makes Fieldmox?
Fieldmox is made by Heffl Ventures LLC, the team behind Heffl business software, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Hadi Abdul Azeez is co-founder and CEO.
